John Konrad

John Ʌ Konrad V serves as the CEO of gCaptain since 2007 and has been an author for HarperCollins Publishers since August 2010. Previous roles include COO of blkSAIL, executive board member of SIX MARITIME, contributor for Forbes, and co-founder and CTO of Unofficial Networks. John also contributed to Valaris Limited as Captain/Chief Officer for a high-value marine project for British Petroleum, served as CTO for gTrax Logistics, and held the position of Chief Officer on deepwater drillships with Transocean. John Ʌ Konrad V's educational background includes a B.S. in Marine Transportation & Logistics from the State University of New York Maritime College, an MBA from Marist College, and participation in Y Combinator's Startup School.
