Tyler Samples

Tyler Samples serves as the Vice President of Finance for both the Business and Consumer divisions at GCI Communication Corp., Alaska’s largest telecom company, where responsibilities include managing a large team across various functions such as FP&A, data analytics, and audit compliance. Previously, Tyler held the position of Vice President for the Business Division, overseeing finance and operations. Prior experience includes serving as Vice President of the Tourism Division at Air Methods, focusing on strategy and market assessments, and as Director of Corporate Development, managing M&A initiatives in healthcare services. Early career experience includes a managerial role at KPMG, where Tyler led audit teams and evaluated technical accounting positions for public companies. Tyler holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from the University of Colorado Boulder and completed the Strategic Financial Leadership Program at Stanford University Graduate School of Business.
