Daniel Baril is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in industrial project management. Presently serving as Directeur de projet for GCM Consultants since October 2011, Daniel oversees various phases of industrial projects, including project definition and feasibility studies. Prior to this role, Daniel held the position of Vice-président à l’exploitation at Groupe Fordia from April 2003 to July 2011, where responsibilities included production, engineering projects, and supply chain management. Other notable positions include Directeur des opérations at Société de développement du Magnésium, Ingénieur de projet at Noranda - Métallurgie Magnola, and Ingénieur de développement at Alcan International. Daniel holds a Master's degree in Metallurgical Engineering and an additional Master's in Project Management from Université Laval and UQAM, respectively.
