Julie-Ann Barna is an experienced Process Safety Management professional with a career spanning over three decades. Currently serving as Manager and previously as Assistant Manager at GCM Consultants since February 2013, Julie-Ann specializes in process safety management, chemical and petroleum process safeguarding, and has led HAZOP studies for various projects. Prior experience includes a role as a Chemical Process Engineering Consultant at PROC Solutions Inc., where expertise encompassed process development, design, and safety management for hazardous materials. Additional positions include Health & Safety and Quality Control Manager at PyroGenesis Canada Inc., Process Engineer at Seneca expert conseils, and R&D Process Engineer at ICI Canada Inc., where significant contributions to process design and pilot plant construction were made. Julie-Ann holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Chemical Engineering from McGill University.
