Ms. Dion St-Pierre is an engineer with significant experience in project management. She holds a Bachelor’s and a Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Sherbrooke and is a member of the Ordre des Ingénieurs du Québec. She has developed her project management skills by participating and leading projects for small and large multinational companies. She has carried out mandates of various sizes for, among others, ArcelorMittal Mining Canada, Tata Steel Minerals Canada, Rio Tinto, Glencore, Canadian Malartic, Osisko, Mine Arnaud, Orica Mining Services and Agnico Eagle Mines Ltd. She has a solid experience on-site.
She has performed environmental supervision on various sites for Genivar and Agnico-Eagle. She has also worked internationally and participated in the economic evaluation of several projects for companies of various sizes. For example, she has worked on the optimization of water treatment systems for final effluent discharge, the development of feasibility studies, the realization of closure plans, etc. In addition, she has been managing large-scale water management projects for several years. She is now at the helm of the Environment and Sustainable Development Department at GCM.
