GCP-Service International
Andreas Beust has a strong background in the biostatistics and data management field. Andreas started their career in 2017 as a Biostatistician & Data Manager at GCP-Service International, where they worked until 2020. In 2019, they were promoted to the role of Senior Biostatistician & Data Manager. In 2020, they became the Head of Biostatistics at the same company, and in 2021, they were appointed as the Chief Scientific Officer. Since 2022, Andreas has been serving as the Chief Executive Officer of GCP-Service International.
Aside from their experience at GCP-Service International, Andreas also held a leadership position at AICROS, where they became the President in 2022.
Before starting their professional career, Andreas pursued their PhD at the University of Bremen, where they focused on researching the type VI secretion systems of a bacterial endophyte with an emphasis on proteomics, mutational analysis, and microbial phenotyping. Andreas was also responsible for supervising practical courses and individual projects for MSc and BSc students as part of their thesis. Andreas completed their PhD in 2016.
Andreas Beust completed their Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Biology at the University of Bremen from 2007 to 2010. Andreas further pursued a Master of Science (M.Sc) in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology at the same university from 2010 to 2012.
