Cass Kalinski has over 40 years of experience in the IT and operational management fields. Cass began their career in 1980 with roles in software engineering management, IT operational management, integration software development, system implementations, production control, new product introductions, manufacturing, distribution and warehousing. From 2007 to 2011, they worked at Cisco Systems as an Sr. IT Manager for the Customer Value Chain Management IT organization, Technical Services IT organization, and Finance Systems. From 2011 to 2017, they worked at Adobe as a Senior IT Manager for Enterprise Metering, Billing and Invoicing, Sr IT Manager/Chief Of Staff for Business Services Operations, and Sr IT Manager for the Order To Cash Portfolio Delivery Office. From 2017 to 2020, they were a Graduate Student at the University of Southern California, where they focused on spatial analytics and modeling using Esri tools as well as external modeling methods such as Maxent and NetLogo. Cass also studied the technical aspects of GIST such as geodatabase design, programming (R and Python), and systems (ArcGIS, QGIS). Currently, they are a Geospatial Software Developer at GCS, a Geospatial IT Services Company.

Cass Kalinski obtained a BA in Business Management from San Jose State University. In 2017, they earned a Graduate Certificate in Geographical Information Science and Technology (GIST) from the University of Southern California, followed by a Master's degree in the same field in 2019. Additionally, they hold a CPIM certification from APICS.
