Lucy Burgess

Lucy Burgess is an experienced educator currently serving as Subject Lead for Level 2 Science and Deputy Head of Section for Science at Bexhill College since May 2021, also teaching Biology. In addition, Lucy has been an examiner for a UK exam board since May 2022, marking GCSE Biology scripts. Lucy's content writing skills have been utilized at GCSEPod since May 2020. Previous roles include Science Teacher at East Sussex County Council from June 2017 to August 2020, Product Advisor at White Stuff from August 2014 to May 2015, Food Service Worker at KFC UK & Ireland from April 2011 to August 2014, and Retail Assistant at Drusillas Zoo Park Limited from May 2012 to August 2013. Lucy holds a Postgraduate Certificate in Computer Science from the University of York, a PGCE in Secondary Education from the University of Sussex, and a BSc in Biology (Microbiology and Biotechnology) from the University of York.
