Erik Ward has over 20 years of experience in the maritime and technology industries. Erik is currently the Chief Information Officer at GCT Global Container Terminals Inc., where they have led major projects such as the automation of the largest on-dock rail facility in the world and the implementation of a cybersecurity program. Prior to GCT, Ward held various roles at Navis, including Regional Vice President and Senior Director, where they were responsible for customer experience, customer operations, and sales in the Americas region. Erik also worked at Tideworks Technology, where they served as a Director and Regional Director, overseeing IT activities and business strategy in Latin America and the Caribbean. Ward's experience in sales and business development includes managing global accounts for multinational clients such as DP World and APM Terminals. Throughout their career, they have consistently demonstrated leadership, strategic planning, and customer-focused initiatives.

Erik Ward completed a Masters Certification in IS/IT Project Management at Villanova University in 2006-2007. Prior to that, they pursued a degree in Communications at UC Santa Barbara from 1992 to 1995. In 1991-1992, they studied Journalism at Penn State University.
