Phil Pavey

Phil is a senior underwriter at GCube with over 30 years’ experience in the London Insurance market, having begun his career as a cargo broker in London in 1984 placing international risks in the Lloyds and company markets.

With extensive experience in the design and marketing of new insurance products including Trade Disruption Insurance, Phil was a Director at Aon and a Partner at Miller Insurance and Lloyd and Partners. Working with Fraser McLachlan (Chief Executive of GCube), he also marketed and placed the original WindPro facility in Lloyds, which was the precursor for GCube Underwriting Ltd. Phil joined GCube as a Cargo and Energy Underwriter in 2008.
