As the Managing Partner at GCW Global Customised Wealth since January 2018 and the Owner of Klettar Investments since May 2013, Thorkelsson has demonstrated leadership and entrepreneurial skills. Thorkelsson co-founded and served as Chairman of the Board at Fossar Investment Bank from April 2015 until September 2023, and held significant roles at Barclays Capital, Nomura, Lehman Brothers, and CIBC Wood Gundy, all as Managing Director of Equities. Thorkelsson holds an MSc in Industrial Engineering and Engineering Management from Stanford University and a BSc in Mechanical Engineering from Háskóli Íslands.
