In 1993 Daniel “George” Cain, Steven “D.” Wilson and Steven “Alan” Frank (ie. George D. Alan) combined their waterproofing, construction, and business experience to form The George D. Alan Company (also known as GDA).   Over the last 30 years, The George D. Alan Company became a premium provider of waterproofing and building envelope services in the Southwestern United States. Along the way we opened Oklahoma Waterproofing Company in Oklahoma, Texas Moisture Protection Company in Houston and purchased SEAL-CO, Inc. in New Mexico.   On January 1, 2023, we consolidated them all under one company, GDA Contractors (The George D. Alan Company, LLC DBA GDA Contractors).

The name wasn’t as important as the mission: to build a team of skilled professionals and leaders to install waterproofing and building envelope systems at the highest level possible.  With a staff of over 250 people serving Texas, Oklahoma, New Mexico, Louisiana, Arkansas, Kansas, Arizona and Colorado, we are continuing to build on our success.  We’re proud of our first 30 years and look forward to the next 30 years with you as a trusted and valuable partner.
