GDB Paint & Coatings

GDB Paint & Coatings provides sustainability solutions to the global paint industry. GDB has been successful in creating a unique process that gives a new lease of life to leftover, off-spec, outdated and discarded paint, coatings, and raw materials at each stage within the entire lifecycle of paint covering every stage right from manufacturing to the end-consumer retail in 45+ countries. Founded 25+ years ago, we remain committed to achieving a ‘net-zero’ carbon footprint in the global paint & coatings industry. GDB Paint & Coatings recycles industrial and automotive refinishes, aerosols, paint applicators, traffic paint, powder coatings and every other underlying raw material utilized in the manufacturing of paint, in addition to architectural paint & coatings. We’re proud to report: • Over 1 million tonnes (1 billion+ kilograms) of oil paint, latex paint & raw materials recycled globally by GDB over the period of 25+ years. • 65,000+ tonnes (65 million kilograms) of leftover paint, off-spec and discontinued paint collected from the paint industry in 2022. • 15,000+ tonnes (15 million kilograms) of wash solvent and wash water processed and recycled in 2022. The company's commitment to sustainability and innovation has led to the development of a unique process that not only reduces waste, but also creates new high-quality, affordable, and eco-friendly paint products. By partnering with GDB, companies across the industry can reduce their environmental impact and contribute to a more sustainable future. GDB's process has significant environmental implications, reducing the amount of waste going to landfills and saving resources by reusing materials that would otherwise be dumped into landfills. We encourage consumers to make conscious choices in selecting products that have a positive impact on the environment, that lead the way to a leaner, cleaner and greener paint industry.
