Asif Kunnibhavi

Asif Kunnibhavi is a seasoned software engineering manager with extensive experience in leading cross-functional teams and managing complex software projects. Currently serving as a Software Engineering Manager at GDH since June 2018, Asif oversees four full-stack teams, comprising 22 developers, 4 business analysts, 8 quality assurance engineers, and 4 scrum masters, focusing on scalability, reliability, and system performance. Previously, Asif worked as a Scrum Master and Product Owner at the Alabama State Medicaid Agency - CARES, where the implementation of an Advance Patient Matching Algorithm significantly improved data quality. Asif also held the position of Senior Software Consultant at AIT Global Inc., designing the Alabama Medicaid Eligibility and Enrollment system. Starting a career as a Software Engineer at Mphasis, Asif developed various modules for the Medicaid Management Information System. Asif holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Engineering from the University of Mumbai.
