Victor Lara

Victor Lara is an experienced professional with a strong background in strategic supply management and production planning. Currently serving as Jefe de Abasto Estratégico at GDI Grupo Diamante Internacional since June 2016, Victor is responsible for fostering commercial relationships with both national and international suppliers and ensuring timely delivery of quality services and raw materials. Previously, as Jefe de Planeación de la Demanda y Operaciones, Victor focused on production planning, raw material supply, and the implementation of MRP and KANBAN systems. Victor also has experience as a Planeador de la Producción and Analista de Demanda, where responsibilities included production monitoring, KPI management, and support for production order compliance. Earlier, at the Dirección General de Fomento y Administración Portuaria, Victor worked as an Analista de Proyectos Marítimo Portuarios, overseeing operational programs for federal ports and forecasting cargo movements. Victor holds a degree in Industrial Engineering with a focus on Operations Research from UAM Universidad Autónoma Metropolitana.
