Christopher Newman

Christopher Newman is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in managing financial operations across various sectors, particularly within the Intelligence Community and Department of Defense. Currently serving as Staff Vice President - Finance at General Dynamics Information Technology since July 2018, Christopher oversees all financial matters for a substantial business portfolio, leading a team in critical areas such as budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning. Previously, as Director of Program Finance at General Dynamics Mission Systems, Christopher contributed to the financial health of numerous government programs and products. Earlier roles include Finance Manager at Raytheon BBN Technologies, focusing on government-funded R&D programs, and Operations Analyst/Accountant at Heinrich Company, Inc., where responsibilities included general bookkeeping and sales administration. Christopher holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Management Sciences and Quantitative Methods from St. Bonaventure University.
