Steven Hunt

Steven Hunt is the current Managing Director of Rates & Regulatory at GDS Associates, Inc. Prior to their current position, they served as the Chief Accountant and Director of Division of Audits and Accounting at the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission from June 2002 to August 2020. In this role, they were responsible for the Commission's electric, natural gas, and oil regulatory programs, as well as overseeing all levels of interdepartmental and external accounting and audit programming. Steven also worked to improve talent acquisition practices, generate quality assurance SOPs, policies, and procedures.

Steven has a long history of working in finance and accounting, and their experience has made him an expert in the field. Steven is a highly respected leader, and their work has helped to shape the way that the energy sector is regulated.

Steven Hunt has a Master's degree in Accounting and Information Systems from Virginia Tech. Steven also has a Bachelor's degree in Accounting from Virginia Tech. Steven is certified as a Certified Public Accountant from the AICPA.

Steven Hunt reports to David Brian, President & CEO. They work with Matt Pamperin - Principal, Jeffrey Huber - Principal, and Jessica Rozier - Principal.
