Jimmy Yu

Jimmy Yu has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Jimmy is currently working at GDS Services Ltd. as the Senior Vice President of International Business, a position they have held since October 2022. Prior to that, they were the Vice President of International Business Development at the same company from April 2021 to October 2022.

In 2015, Jimmy started their own venture called Jimmy Yu Ltd where they took on the role of being a father and embarked on a new journey with the arrival of their son, Jimmy Jr.

Before their current role, Jimmy worked at Amazon Web Services (AWS) as the Principal of Business Development for DCGS from September 2020 to April 2021. Jimmy also served as the Infrastructure Global Expansion Management at AWS from May 2016 to September 2020.

Prior to AWS, Jimmy was the Director of IMG Sales & Marketing for Greater China at IMG from July 2015 to May 2016.

From May 2014 to July 2015, Jimmy worked at DataCenterDynamics as the General Manager for Greater China. Jimmy also held the positions of Business Manager for GCN from January 2012 to April 2014 and Market Manager for GCN from November 2009 to December 2011 at the same company.

Before joining DataCenterDynamics, Jimmy worked at Delegait as the Business Development Manager from March 2008 to October 2009. Jimmy also served as the Regional Sales Manager for Corporate Sports Australia at Delegait from July 2007 to March 2008.

Jimmy's early work experience includes working as a Project Manager at Avail Corporation from April 2004 to July 2007.

Jimmy Yu attended Shanghai University from 2000 to 2004, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Industrial Design.
