Gdynia International School (GIS) was founded in 2013 to offer International and Polish families an international English language based education for their children.

The founder of the GIS is Kevin D’Arcy – who is an experienced teacher at all levels, from Preschool to University level. He is also an expert in managing international schools.
Currently there is a Preschool (for children aged from 2½ to 6) and from September 2021 the School is going to open for Classes 0-2. The Preschool is located at 10 Moniuszki Street and Primary School at 37 Kapitańska Street, Gdynia. The teaching programme follows the British National Programme and also meets the requirements set out by the Polish Ministry of Education (MEN).

Our staff consists of qualified, passionate and creative teachers. They are professionals who are great in education as well as communicating and raising children.

The GIS educational programme is stimulating and holistic. It encourages children to develop their full range of personal skills to be competent and enthusiastic learners. Classes at GIS are conducted at the highest level, according to the best international standards and teaching programs, tailored to the students needs.

The values of GIS include intercultural diversity, inspiring children to be empathetic, respectful, responsible, confident and internationally minded individuals. Children from thirty countries from Europe, Asia, Australia, North and South America have studied with us in an atmosphere of pluralism, mutual respect and integration.
