Andrew Johnston has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and companies. Andrew started their career in 2000 at Johnson Controls as a Lead Product Engineer, where they successfully launched automotive interior products for different vehicles and OEMs. Andrew then progressed to become an Engineering Manager, leading the upfront engineering of various interior zones. After leaving Johnson Controls in 2015, they joined Yanfeng Automotive Interiors as an Engineering Manager, responsible for new business acquisition, and later took on the role of Senior Program Manager for the BMW BU. In 2019, they joined GE Aerospace as a Senior Engineering Project Manager, and currently holds the position of Integrated Product Team Director. Throughout their career, Andrew has demonstrated strong leadership skills, achieving results and providing clarity to teams working on complex problems.
Andrew Johnston completed their education with a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Grand Valley State University in 2002. Prior to that, they studied Architecture at the University of Michigan from 1997 to 1999. Andrew also attended Grand Rapids Community College from 1995 to 1997. In 2010, they earned an MBA in Finance from Grand Valley State University.
