Christopher Thompson

Christopher Thompson is the Director of T700 US Military Programs at GE Aviation, having over 20 years of experience primarily focused on the design, operation, maintenance, and repair of gas turbines. They previously held roles at GE Power & Water as the Global Repair Development Center Manager, where they led teams to develop innovative manufacturing technologies for gas and steam turbine repairs. With a robust background in Lean Six Sigma DFSS and material science, Christopher has been instrumental in the advancement of repair technologies across multiple global facilities. They earned a Bachelor’s degree in Innovation & Technology from Wheeling Jesuit University and a Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from West Virginia University.
