Daniel Beard

Daniel Beard is an accomplished manufacturing engineering professional with extensive experience in the aerospace and technology sectors. Currently serving as the Manufacturing Engineering Operations Leader at GE Aerospace since January 2026, Daniel previously held the position of Business Operations and Productivity Leader at Dowty, a GE Aerospace company, from June 2023 to January 2026. Prior to that, Daniel spent nearly 18 years at L3Harris Technologies, where significant contributions included driving a continuous improvement culture and achieving approximately £25 million in process improvement savings. Throughout the career, roles have encompassed continuous improvement leadership, VA/VE engineering, and manufacturing engineering management, with a focus on enhancing manufacturing processes through lean and quality methodologies. Daniel began a career as a Manufacturing Engineer at Xerox from 2003 to 2005, reinforcing a solid foundation in manufacturing practices. Education includes attendance at the Royal Forest of Dean College and Heywood School.
