Gang Yao

Gang Yao is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in electronic hardware and power electronics. Currently serving as a Principal Engineer at GE Aviation since February 2021, Gang Yao previously held roles as a Senior Staff Engineer and Engineering Technical Leader at GE Transportation and GE Lighting, where significant contributions were made in design management and implementation of DFSS methodologies. With educational qualifications that include a Master's degree in Computer Science from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, along with a Bachelor's and Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering and Power Electronics from Zhejiang University, Gang Yao combines advanced technical expertise with leadership capabilities in the engineering field.
