Joe Markiewicz has extensive work experience in a variety of roles within the aviation industry. Joe began their career at GE Aviation in 2000 and held positions such as Operations Management Leadership Program participant, Quality Engineer, and Six Sigma Black Belt. Joe then progressed into managerial roles, including Manager of Shop Operations and Sourcing Commodity Leader. In 2011, they became the Executive Plant Manager, overseeing plant operations. Later, they transitioned into executive-level roles, including Executive of LEAP Product Cost, Executive of LEAP Manufacturing Programs, and Executive of Product Operations for Aeroderivative Engines. In 2023, they joined GE Aerospace as the Executive Program Manager for CF6/GE90/GP and Engine Alliance EVP. Overall, Joe Markiewicz has a strong background in operations, manufacturing, and program management within the aerospace industry.
Joe Markiewicz has a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree in Business Administration and Management from Northeastern University. Joe also has a Graduate Certificate in Supply Chain Management from the same university.
