Mitchell Albrecht

Mitchell Albrecht, Ph.D., is an Advanced Lead Engineer at GE Aerospace since June 2022, following a role as Lead Engineer. From August 2016 to May 2022, Mitchell served as a Graduate Research Fellow in Mechanical Engineering at Michigan State University, focusing on aerodynamic experiments with unsteady airfoils and advanced data processing techniques. Prior experience includes working as a Fluid Systems Engineer at General Dynamics Electric Boat from July 2014 to July 2016, where Mitchell developed piping and instrumentation diagrams and conducted analyses in fluid mechanics and thermodynamics. Additionally, an early role as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at Clarkson University involved the implementation of advanced diagnostic methods to study vortex ring interactions. Mitchell holds a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from Michigan State University and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical & Aeronautical Engineering from Clarkson University, complemented by a minor in Mathematics.
