Rita Flaherty

Rita Flaherty serves as the Vice President of Global Sales and Business Development for GE Aerospace Defense & Systems since April 2023, focusing on expanding the company's legacy in the aerospace sector. Prior to this role, Rita Flaherty held multiple leadership positions at Lockheed Martin from July 2001 to April 2023, including Vice President of Strategy and Business Development, where a strong emphasis was placed on meeting customer needs through digital engineering and innovation. Rita Flaherty also led business development efforts in the Sensors & Global Sustainment organization, as well as directing Fire Control Business Development and integrating strategies across Electronic Systems segments. Education credentials include a Bachelor of Science in English and Systems Engineering from the United States Military Academy at West Point and a Master of Science in Manufacturing Engineering from Syracuse University.
