Staff Engineer - Performance Engineering

Robert Clark is an accomplished engineer with extensive experience in performance engineering, particularly within the aerospace sector. Currently serving as an Advanced Lead Engineer at GE Aerospace since June 2023, Robert focuses on NPSS cycle design for the CFM RISE program. Previously, Robert was a PhD candidate and NDSEG Fellow at the Georgia Institute of Technology, specializing in aircraft thermal management and propulsion systems. With a background that includes roles at GE Aviation, where Robert contributed to military preliminary design and developed advanced cycle design tools, as well as mechanical design work on high-pressure turbine components, Robert has cultivated a strong foundation in aerospace engineering. Complementing this experience, Robert holds multiple advanced degrees in Aerospace and Mechanical Engineering from Georgia Tech and The Ohio State University, along with a Bachelor's degree from Purdue University.
