Ubaldo Scardicchio

Ubaldo Scardicchio is an accomplished Systems Engineer with extensive experience in the aerospace industry, currently serving as Regional & Business Aviation Systems Engineer at GE Aerospace since August 2016. Responsible for managing seven jet engine platforms, Ubaldo ensures safety, stability, and timely delivery of both new production and MRO engines through Lean methodologies and international collaboration. Previous roles at GE Aviation included Systems Engineering Leader for the GP 7200, where Ubaldo oversaw hardware and module design, as well as an Engineering Integration Leader during the AvioAero merger. Ubaldo's background also includes leadership positions in engineering and manufacturing at GE Oil & Gas and foundational engineering roles at Elasis. Ubaldo holds a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Polytechnic University of Bari and a diploma from Instituto Tecnico G. Marconi in Bari, Italy.
