Gonzalo Ocano

Gonzalo Ocano is an accomplished engineering professional with extensive experience in product development and management within the appliance industry. Currently serving as Director of Engineering for Commercial A/C Technology at GE Appliances since August 2021, Gonzalo leads engineering teams and collaborates across functions to direct product roadmaps. Previously, Gonzalo held senior roles at FirstBuild, including Director of Engineering and Product Manager, where responsibilities included driving product innovation and teamwork with global leaders. Gonzalo's career at GE Appliances spans several positions, including Program Manager and Design Manager, where focus areas included new product implementation and coordinating cross-functional efforts to meet market demands. Gonzalo holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Florida International University.
