Director Of Advanced Manufacturing Engineering - Clothes Care at GE Appliances

Kelley Brooks has a diverse work experience spanning across various companies and roles. Kelley began their career as a Project Engineer at Steel Technologies, where they managed all aspects of project execution related to steel processing equipment. In 1998, they joined GE Appliances as an Advanced Manufacturing Engineer, where they played a key role in driving Six Sigma into the culture of the AME organization. Kelley also led strategic planning for sealed systems manufacturing.

Throughout their career at GE Appliances, Kelley held various leadership positions, such as Advanced Manufacturing Engineering Leader and Adv Manufacturing Engineering and Global Real Estate Leader, involving the creation and growth of advanced manufacturing engineering organizations. Kelley also managed the insourcing of process capabilities and localization efforts.

Kelley later joined Current, powered by GE, as an Executive, where they focused on managing global lean and advanced manufacturing engineering strategies, leading teams responsible for incremental capacity and capabilities.

In 2017, Kelley joined GE Appliances, a Haier company, as the Director of Advanced Manufacturing Engineering. In this role, they led several teams responsible for initiatives such as the launch of a global front load laundry platform and the clear and outfitting of the existing Camden facility. Kelley also played a pivotal role in driving GE's advanced manufacturing initiatives as an Executive in the Advanced Manufacturing Engineering Group.

Kelley's work experience showcases their expertise in project management, lean manufacturing, digital capabilities, and driving operational excellence.

Kelley Brooks earned a Bachelor's Degree and a Master of Engineering (MEng) in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Louisville. Kelley completed their Bachelor's Degree from 1991 to 1995 and their Master's Degree from 1991 to 1996.
