Michael Groh CIH, CSP has a extensive work experience in health and safety management. Michael started their career in 1998 as the Corporate Health and Safety Manager at ArvinMeritor. In this role, they were responsible for developing and implementing health and safety management systems for multiple divisions with a global presence. Michael then moved on to GE Appliances in 2007, where they served as the EHS Manager until 2013. During their time at GE Appliances, they also held the position of Appliance Park EHS Leader, overseeing the health and safety of over 5,000 employees. In 2016, Michael joined GE Appliances, a Haier company, as the Director of Health and Safety. In this role, they have been instrumental in leading global health and safety programs and processes, ensuring the well-being of over 12,000 employees. Additionally, Michael has been an active member of various committees and associations, including the Computer Applications Committee and the Kentuckiana AIHA Local Section.

Michael Groh CIH, CSP obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Geological Sciences with a minor in Physics from Cleveland State University, graduating between 1984 and 1990. Michael later attended the Medical College of Ohio from 1995 to 2000, earning a Master of Science in Occupational Health with a focus on Industrial Hygiene. In terms of certifications, Michael obtained Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) credentials from the Board for Global EHS Credentialing (BGC®) and the American Board of Industrial Hygiene in June 2002. Michael also became a Certified Safety Professional through the Board of Certified Safety Professionals in December 2005.
