Paul Oligee

Director – Advanced Manufacturing Engineering / COE at GE Appliances

Paul Oligee has extensive work experience in various roles within the manufacturing and engineering industry. Paul started their career in 1990 at General Electric, where they held positions such as Engineer, Lead Engineer, and Team Leader in areas such as mechanical and experimental analysis, dynamic simulation and analysis, sound quality, and acoustics. Paul later became a Program Manager, focusing on supplier development and new product introduction.

In 2007, Oligee became a Supplier Quality Manager and Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt at General Electric, where they managed a team responsible for supplier qualification, non-conformance management, and quality initiatives. Paul also served as a coatings and finishes expert for US and Asia teams.

In 2020, Oligee joined GE Appliances, a Haier company, as the Director of Advanced Manufacturing Engineering and COE. Paul led a team of Advanced Manufacturing Engineers, delivering manufacturing solutions for new product introduction, factory capacity, and cost reduction initiatives. Paul also served as the Director of Finishes COE Execution Team, where they developed a global supply base and business process for the execution of premium finishes.

Overall, Oligee has demonstrated expertise in process improvement, supplier quality management, and manufacturing engineering throughout their career.

Paul Oligee holds a Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, which they obtained from North Carolina State University between 1988 and 1990. Prior to that, they received their Bachelor's Degree in Physics from Eastern Kentucky University, where they studied from 1983 to 1988. Additionally, they have obtained a certification in Noise Control Engineering from the INCE (Institute of Noise Control Engineering).
