Ryan Hartlage

Ryan Hartlage is a Senior Principal Software Engineer and Embedded Software Architect at GE Appliances, a Haier company, since December 2021. Previously, Ryan served as a Principal Software Architect at General Electric from July 2010 to December 2021, leading a team in developing core frameworks for appliance control software and teaching key topics in software design and development. Earlier in Ryan's career, an Undergraduate Teaching Assistant role was held at The Ohio State University, where instruction included engineering drawing, CAD, and C/C++, as well as guiding students in designing autonomous robots. Ryan holds dual Bachelor of Science degrees in Electrical and Computer Engineering and Mathematics from The Ohio State University, earned between 2005 and 2010.
