Nick Zhao

Nick Zhao is a seasoned design and technology professional with extensive experience in the lighting and engineering sectors. Currently serving as the Design Manager for LA at Current Lighting since July 2022, Nick has also held the position of Design Manager at Current, powered by GE since May 2019. With a long tenure at GE, beginning in October 2003, Nick has progressed through various roles, including Technology Manager for Strategic Projects, Lead System Manager at GE Lighting, Safety Manager, and Technology Program Manager. Prior to GE, Nick worked as a Tooling Design Engineer at 富士康 and 上海灿坤实业有限公司. Academic qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering and Automation from 湖北工业大学, earned between 1997 and 2001, and secondary education from 湖北省丹江口市第一中学 from 1991 to 1997.
