Alexandru Serghie

Alexandru Serghie is a Senior Infrastructure Architect at GE Vernova since June 2023 and has held a similar position at GE Energy Connections since September 2016, focusing on infrastructure architecture design for life-critical systems, utilizing automation tools like Ansible and Python. With extensive experience in IT infrastructure maintenance, including implementing Active Directory and managing both Windows and Linux server environments, Alexandru also served as Senior IT Expert at FreshStart, addressing diverse IT needs in healthcare. Previous roles include CISO at VEO Worldwide Services, managing IT projects and security, and an Application Expert at OMV Petrom, among others. Alexandru holds a Master’s degree in Management of Electric and Electronic Systems and a Licentiate degree in Automation Engineering from Universitatea Petrol-Gaze din Ploiești.
