Ashraf Hassan

Ashraf Hassan is a Lead Engineer in Protection and Control Design at GE Vernova, specializing in grid automation across the SABAP cluster, which includes Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Pakistan, and Afghanistan. Prior experience includes serving as a Protection Design Engineer at GE Renewable Energy, where responsibilities involved designing protection and control systems for EHV and HV substations. Ashraf has also worked at the Middle East for Engineering Consulting Office, focusing on the design of HV substation secondary systems, and completed a training project at Smart Power related to HV substation secondary systems design. Ashraf holds a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Power and Machines Engineering from Helwan University, obtained in 2014.
