Mahmoud Elsharkawy

Mahmoud ElSharkawy is a Lean Operations Manager at GE Vernova since April 2023, responsible for achieving key performance indicators in safety, quality, delivery, cost, and culture, while leading a team of over 80 employees in delivering $8 million annually in gas turbine repair services. Prior experience includes roles at GE Power as a Lean Leader, Operations & Maintenance Leader, Operations Leader, and Project Manager, focusing on value stream mapping, cost reduction, preventive maintenance, and project planning across multiple international clients. Mahmoud holds an MBA in Finance and a BS in Mechanical Engineering, both from the American University in Dubai, and has also worked as a Resident Assistant and completed an internship in Aircraft and Gas Turbine Maintenance at EGYPTAIR.
