Mat Coombs has extensive experience in engineering and electrical roles, currently serving as a Wind Turbine Technician at GE Vernova since June 2025. Prior to this, Mat held positions at Cranswick Country Foods PLC as an Engineering Supervisor and at Aunt Bessie's as an Engineering Coordinator. Mat also contributed to Karro Food Group as Head Of Engineering, Engineering Supervisor, and Electrical Engineer from April 2017 to March 2023. Earlier experience includes working as an Electrical Engineer at British Steel from September 2013 to April 2017. Mat completed an HNC in Electrical and Electronics Engineering at HETA from September 2019 to August 2020 and attended huntcliffe from 2008 to 2013.
