Matthew Kniskern

Matthew Kniskern currently serves as the General Manager for Americas Projects - OnShore Wind at GE Vernova, overseeing project execution for OnShore Wind initiatives across North and South America since June 2023. Prior to this role, Matthew held various leadership positions at GE Renewable Energy and GE Current, where responsibilities included project management and building cross-functional teams to enhance Smart Building and Controls operations. Matthew's extensive experience at GE Power & Water included managing large-scale power generation projects, leading global teams for proposal management, and overseeing a consortium for a major power plant construction in Kuwait. Matthew's career began in the US Army, where service as a Captain in Military Intelligence provided a foundation in project management and team leadership. Matthew holds an MBA from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from North Carolina State University.
