Roger Martella

Roger Martella is currently the Group Vice President, Chief Sustainability Officer, and Head of Engagement for Government Affairs & Policy at GE Vernova. Roger has had significant experience in the environmental law sector, including positions as Vice President and Chief Sustainability Officer at GE, Adjunct Professor at Howard University School of Law, and Co-Lead of Global Environmental Law and Climate Change Practices at Sidley Austin LLP. Prior to their time in the private sector, Roger worked at the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and the U.S. Department of Justice. Roger holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Cornell University and a Doctor of Law (J.D.) from Vanderbilt University Law School.
