Shengfei Yin

Shengfei Yin, Ph.D., is a Senior Electricity Market Optimization Engineer at GE Vernova, beginning in June 2024, focusing on developing next-generation electricity market systems in Java. Prior experience includes serving as a Senior Optimization Engineer at Ascend Analytics and a Power Systems Optimization Engineer at Berkeley Lab, where research involved policy recommendations for China’s solar rooftop potentials and software development for the open-source tool Gridpath. Additionally, as a Research and Development Fellow at MISO, important contributions were made to generator trajectory forecasting and real-time commitment routines.
