Alan Pomfret possesses extensive experience in the water technologies sector, currently serving as a Product Applications Leader at both SUEZ - Water Technologies & Solutions and GE Water & Process Technologies since October 2017 and December 2012 respectively. In addition to these roles, Alan has been associated with The Grumpy Boilerman and AP as a retired professional since July 2020. Academic qualifications include a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Organic Chemistry and a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Chemistry, both obtained from the University of Leeds between 1975 and 1981. Early education was completed at Selwyn Jones High School and Newton le Willows Grammar School.
