Shankar K

Shankar K has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Shankar began their career as a Management Trainee at Lloyds Steel Industries Ltd in 1987. Shankar then moved on to Hoechst India Limited, where they worked as a Manager in Financial MIS from 1988 to 1991. Shankar then joined Wipro as a Manager in Finance from 1991 to 1999. In 1999, they joined GE Water & Process Technologies as a Manager in Finance and held various roles such as Regional Supply Chain Finance Manager - AsiaPac and CFO - MEA until present.

Shankar K started their education in 1980 at the University of Mumbai, where they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Commerce (B.Com.) until 1983. Subsequently, from 1982 to 1985, Shankar K attended The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, where they obtained the ACA degree. Following this, between 1985 and 1988, Shankar K enrolled at The Institute of Company Secretaries of India and completed the ACS degree. These educational achievements have provided Shankar K with a strong foundation in commerce, accounting, and company secretarial practices.
