Gerhard Uys

Gerhard Uys currently serves as the Head of Project Realization for Southern and East Africa at GEA Group, a position held since January 2024. Prior to this role, Gerhard Uys was a Project and Program Specialist at ProjectWay Solutions, focusing on the renovation of Sasol Filling Stations. With extensive experience at Tetra Pak from 2001 to 2022, Gerhard Uys held various senior roles, including Project Center Manager Africa and Installations Director for both Greater Middle East & Africa as well as Sub Sahara Africa, managing large-scale project operations and leading teams to enhance installation excellence and strategic initiatives. Earlier in the career, Gerhard Uys was involved in operations and project management at Woolworths, overseeing new store developments and refurbishments. Gerhard Uys holds a Higher Education Diploma in the technical field, as well as diplomas in Financial Management and Project Management.
