Maarten Kremers

Maarten Kremers is an experienced Technical Product Manager specializing in Trust, Identity, and Security at SURF, where employment began in December 2007. In addition to current responsibilities at SURF, Maarten serves as Work Package Leader for Trust & Identity in the GN5-1 Project at GÉANT, overseeing multiple task leads and managing various identity services and innovation projects. Maarten’s prior roles include Acting Deputy Work Package Leader and Task Leader within GÉANT's various projects, and Maarten is a member of the REFEDS Steering Committee, addressing the needs of research and education identity federations. With earlier experience as an SAP HR Consultant at LogicaCMG, a Teaching Assistant at Tilburg University, and a System Administrator at Getronics, Maarten holds a Drs./MSc degree in Information Management from Tilburg University, a Bachelor's degree in ICT from Avans University of Applied Sciences, and has pursued additional qualifications in Data Engineering and Full Stack Development.
