Mac Lavier is an experienced professional with a diverse work history. Mac co-founded Gear Up Sports in 2009, aiming to simplify and reduce costs for youth sports organizations in managing uniforms and apparel. As the President & CEO, they continue to prioritize the needs of youth non-profit boards. Mac also served as an Investor at Oregon Venture Fund starting in 2020. In their previous role at Radisys Corporation, they held various positions such as VP & GM of Embedded Products & HW Services, Vice President of Global Operations & Corporate Quality, Director of Corporate Quality and Customer Excellence, and Director of Operations Strategic Management System & Corporate Continuous Improvement. Prior to that, Mac worked as a Sr. Manager at Tektronix from 1996 to 2010.

Mac Lavier earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial and Management Engineering from Montana State University-Bozeman. Mac attended the university from 1991 to 1996. Later, they pursued an Executive MBA (North America program) from the University of Washington - Michael G. Foster School of Business, from 2007 to 2009.
