Jeroen Valstar has a diverse work experience in various industries. Jeroen started their career in 2015 as a Stagiair Logistics at Viscon Group and later transitioned to the role of Stagiair Hydroponics. In 2017, they worked as an Afstudeerder 3D-vision at Houdijk Holland. From 2014 to 2016, they served as a Horecamedewerker at Strandpark Vlugtenburg. In 2018, they joined Koppert as a Project Engineer, where their responsibilities included programming PLCs, troubleshooting electrical issues, and commissioning machines. Currently, they are working as a Project Engineer at Gearbox since 2022.
Jeroen Valstar's education history includes obtaining a Havo degree in Natuur & Techniek from ISW Gasthuislaan Havo from 2007 to 2012. Subsequently, they pursued a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) degree in Mechatronica/Robotica/Industriële automatisering at De Haagse Hogeschool/The Hague University of Applied Sciences from 2012 to 2017.

Gearbox Innovations is a create smart products which simplify, improve or accelerate daily work. They do this with a new generation of image analyses, efficient workstations, robotics and smart software. Together with our clients, we create prototypes out of ideas to test them for usability, feasibility, and ‘smartness’, in order to subsequentlydevelop them into the desired product. This also allows for customisation, whereby we combine our broad knowledge and experience in High Tech industries with a practical and incremental approach.
