John Rutkowski

John Rutkowski has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. John started their career as a Materials Engineer Research Assistant at the National Concrete Masonry Association from August 2004 to December 2010. John then became self-employed, gaining experience in public speaking from 2009 to 2016. In 2012, John joined The Media Trust as an Advertising QA Account Manager, providing quality assurance support for clients' web-based advertising applications. Their role involved monitoring server-side configurations and ensuring proper display of client webpages. From February 2018 to May 2019, John worked in Quality Assurance at Gearbox Entertainment, where they gained experience in coordinating and scheduling QA test plans. John also served as the embedded QA Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the Tech Art and Code Optimization departments. Finally, they took on the role of Quality Assurance Coordinator at Gearbox Entertainment from May 2019 to December 2021. In this role, they managed release coordination for Tech Art and Code design changes, trained new QA testers, and analyzed tableau data to identify performance issues. Recently, in January 2022, John was promoted to the position of Quality Assurance Associate Lead at Gearbox Entertainment.

John Rutkowski graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in International Studies from Virginia Commonwealth University in 2009. Additionally, they obtained certifications as a Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) and Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) from Scrum Alliance in October 2023 and January 2023 respectively.
