Randy Varnell

Randy Varnell has over 17 years of experience in the gaming industry. Randy started their career at Macromedia as a Senior QA Designer in 1995 and stayed with the company for eight years. In 2003, Randy joined Ensemble Studios as part of the Quality Assurance team. After a year, they moved to EMSI and took on the role of Manager of Quality Assurance and Test, where they stayed until 2007. Randy then joined MumboJumbo as the Director of Production, leading the casual gaming development team. In 2009, they accepted a position as a Producer at an unnamed game company, before eventually landing at Gearbox Entertainment. At Gearbox, Randy held several positions, starting as the Managing Producer of Narrative in 2018, then becoming the Director of Creative Development in 2019, and currently serving as the President of Gearbox Properties as of March 2022.

From 1989 to 1994, Randy Varnell attended Ouachita Baptist University. The degree name and field of study are unknown.
