Wonchan Song

Wonchan Song is a highly skilled Senior Lighting Artist currently employed at Gearbox Entertainment since March 2022, with previous experience as a Generalist at Scanline VFX and a Lighting Artist at Method Studios. Wonchan Song's extensive career includes a significant tenure at Blue Sky Studios from 2009 to 2021, where contributions were made to numerous animated films, including "Rio," "Ice Age," and "Ferdinand," serving primarily as Lighting TD. Earlier experience includes roles at Charlex and ReelFX Creative Studios, working on various projects that encompass lighting, shading, and compositing. Wonchan Song holds a Master of Science in Visualization Sciences from Texas A&M University and a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Computer Animation from Ringling College of Art and Design.
